From the political conflict resolution or peace-keeping models, the efforts by the Pakistani government is an important step into the right direction. This has been long overdue and awaited by those affected by the aging conflict between the these two parties. In the political perspective, no animosity can be eradicated without involing all the role-players in that regard.
By including the Taliban, even if its viewed as the most extremist movement by the larger part of the international community, will bring about a more meaningful talks about the ending of the long faught battles.
